Crestfallen Moon
~*Marge Tindal*~

Cresting sliver of gilded light
falls across this indigo night
A whispering slice in the sky
this crestfallen moon
in gentle-light sigh~

~*The pen of the poet never runs out of ink, as long as we breathe.*~

Girl you must have been reading my mind earlier. Ron and I were out for a walk this evening and were looking at this sliver moon. I told him you'd probably write some magnificent piece. And you did!

Hugs and loves, Marti

Every now and then take a good look at something not made
with hands -- a mountain, a star, the power of the ocean.
There will come to you wisdom,

Marge---This was so lovely, that I just pulled back my covers to see the moon! (Oh, my goodness---I meant, pulled back my "curtains" !!)---To see a moon under my covers, would give my reply a whole other meaning! hehe

Unfortunately, when I pulled back my "curtains!"---there was no moon in sight. So, the only moon I'll be seeing tonight--is yours! tehe

Even when crestfallen, our moon is beautiful....
