The Bill Of Writes.
I've paid my dues
but I've missed some cues,
some chances to right
The Bill Of Wrongs.

Do unto others....
before they do do unto you.
You have the right to bear arms
but not to bare feet when
you go out to eat.

Unattended luggage
will be confiscated
and destroyed!!!

I read the fine print three times,
but even with a college degree,
it made no sense to me.

Of course ignorance is bliss!
But it is no defense.

Look before you leap!
Then jump in without regret,
the water is fine!
What water????

The skies don't cry lately,
but the flora and fauna do.

Somewhere over yonder rainbow
bluebirds fly...
and so does the West Nile virus.

And the beat goes on and on and on.
But is anyone listening?

Honestly love this poem, Kacy. Very cool. Sometimes, I think I got the wrong handbook, ya know? Or maybe as you said, missed a few 'cues'.

I wish I could find my old peace sign which I wore around my neck back then. I'm sure its buried somewhere beneath the effects of my yuppie years...
