Velvet roses in boxes; memories for each one I don't sleep at nights, not much anymore Were those my words? somewhere lost The pen softly touching; Recalling the shadows that have stolen peaces of life Shades of blue hide foolish eyes the smell of orchids float in May air Searching for meaning that linger from the past Walking through a maze of faces unable to touch or give thought-- too any word I may hold on the slide of my tongue Home is the room which absorbs the abandon heart: gentle dancer clocks ticking moments by as if there were a fragile glass menagerie Tiny fingers of moonlight play the willow trees the storm of wondering is over placing my self here, now -- with out regrets or guilt The poem sets pouring morning dew and drifting words in sprinkled petals Lavender perfection; of pages I write -- shaking loose the string that held me together for so long I can wait out the day’s now-- molded by these hands-- fill me again with creation I stand ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ This will kinda be a series, without a specific theme.....bear with me...these feelings are new and confusing...but I am working them out.... /pip/Forum69/HTML/003265.html I would rather have one breath of his hair, one kiss of his mouth, one touch of his hand than an eternity without it. Your imagery is outstanding....I can see that you are groping a little bit...But you have an outstanding start and a solid foundation... GO FOR IT!!! As Rocky once said... |

Lauren, ============= the storm of wondering is over placing my self here, now -- with out regrets or guilt ============= Well...whatever doubt or searching this phrase indicates the answer doesn't lay to far away. As always, I love your poetry. |

clocks ticking moments by as if there were a fragile glass menagerie Tiny fingers of moonlight play the willow trees the storm of wondering is over placing my self here, now -- with out regrets or guilt The poem sets pouring morning dew and drifting words in sprinkled petals Lavender perfection; of pages I write -- shaking loose the string that held me together for so long =========================== I read the first one..then came back to this...(both are hauntingly soulful and classic Lauren exquisite... and I must disagree...there is most assuredly a "theme" ... the rediscovery of the parts of you once lost to distance, memories once only found in rewind...now coming full circle to make new memories and fill in the blank spaces with the words sister and brother...family. heart-hugs dear poetess... mothyme |

I must agree .... the theme was always present though key characters have just risen. Time is fragile and heartstrings need tender care to unravel lifes missing "peaces". Look forward to this series ... and all it has to offer. ***sss |

we have found that exploration of emotions is half the fun lovely Distance is the prison for our bodies, but no prison could weaken our passion. |

Lauren, if I said wonder-full it would not be enough so I will say instead perfection personified especially these lines "shaking loose the string that held me together for so long" Kethry Here in the midst of my lonely abyss, a single joy I find...your presence in my mind. Unknown |

"Lavender perfection; of pages I write -- shaking loose the string that held me together for so long I can wait out the day’s now-- molded by these hands-- fill me again with creation I stand" (smiles) Wow, I love where this is going, sweet friend, like always your imagery amazes me as I know this will be a fabulous series! (kiss on cheek) This is breathtaking, sweet friend, may creation always bloom in your heart, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Lauren, thank you for sharing! May love and light always shine upon you! Love, Noah Eaton "Underneath your clothes there's an endless story..." |

Lauren darling girl, TRULY PERFECTION I love this darling heart, it’s utterly utterly fabulous, it flows with such misty softness like a question waiting to be asked. Your writing is always special, sometime it is especially so, and this is an absolute beauty. The light within streams out to caress the eye and heart of the reader. Truly this is one of your best. I love it utterly utterly love it. You really do write the most beautiful souls sighs you know? And this is exquisite. A keeper for sure. Thank you Love and warm stuff As always Mushy Breathe through the heat of our desire |
