I want to explore you To see inside the you that thinks and feels To hear your wants needs and feelings I want to feel the caresses of your thoughts.. as they tumble against my mind I want you to explore me.. to want to know me.. to want to find the me I hide from everyone else.. To have you feel my thoughts and soul embrace your mind and spirit I want us to join our spirits and fantasies...so we explode in delight I want to know you – I want to hold you Be my best friend...and care about what I offer you Be my best friend.. and let me be me… |

Hello Paul Such an important message was portrayed through your words. We can't pretend to be something we not and people just have to accept us as we are for eventually we must lower our masks to reveal our true selves. Take care.....Sue Suetang |

Goodknight There is a deep place of soul that connects at times with or without words or touch, it is seeing and knowing without being shown or told.... Your poem is intimate like that. I enjoyed the view through your eyes. |

I want to explore you To see inside the you that thinks and feels To hear your wants needs and feelings I want to feel the caresses of your thoughts.. as they tumble against my mind ------------------------------------------- Paul, I love this stanza as I don't think.. now I may be wrong here, and have all the men of PiP up in arms...lol...but, I don't think too many men think this way and really want to get to know a woman this deeply. then....summing it all up with... Be my best friend...and care about what I offer you Be my best friend.. and let me be me… -------------------------------------------- makes for one beautiful, sensual write my friend....well done!! ~Hugs~ ~Somewhere in my heart I'm always |

Paul, you are bringing out my envy.... No, seriously, I am pleased to read this poem. MUCH MUCH truth in your words...Yes, I agree with Nancy...the animal instincts of primal man sometimes detract from the needs of a woman.... Like they say... Listen...and then listen some more... Like the Pic....Now I don't feel like I am the only old man around here... Enjoyed this one...thanx... |

Lost hair!?! Where? I have been collecting it...trying to make a toupee... Balladeer tried to get me one, but he fell on his sword on this one... Larry C and I did a duet together a couple of months ago, you would have enjoyed it. Had a few hair remarks in it... You and I have one common ground...the smooth landing zone on the top of our heads...LOL.. |

"I want us to join our spirits and fantasies...so we explode in delight I want to know you – I want to hold you Be my best friend...and care about what I offer you Be my best friend.. and let me be me…" (smiles) Oh my gosh, this is soooooo lovely, sweet friend, you are indeed a wonderful and sensitive man and I know your love will always be blessed to have you for so few men nowadays seem to understand that feeling to the heart is what makes a strong love and you have that special heart! (big huggsssssss) This is wonderful, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Paul, thank you for sharing! May love and light always shine upon you! Paul ~ I liked this so much. Intimacy is such a wonderful thing between two people. The line, '...Be my best friend.. and let me be me…' is right on. And yet, it is so hard. Seems we are always trying to change each other, when who we really need to change sometimes, is ourselves. Great write - Hugs, Marti "Even if life is full of thorns, I still embrace it for I know that in between those thorns, there is a rose worth all the pain." |
