THE POEM

thrown in the middle of the stream
not knowing wich way to turn
sometimes hanging in there for a while
like a Sunday's rest
then disappearing out of sight
so quickly
that one could wonder
if it was even there
leaving behind a feeling
of uncertainty
either praised or ignored
it flows in the stream
till the last breath of hope
sometimes revived
for a short time
always seeking for recognition
it vanishes in thin air at last
yet its spirit remains
the birth and death of a poem

Like scattered leaves...my words will flow

Good poem - very appropriate for the "turning of the page" time when someone posts a poem and then the Forum gets changed almost immediately and no one ever looks at your poem again -

Have a nice day..

So many die so young.
Dare we suggest a little birth control?
