Summer Shivers Small slivers of life thoughts, wondering, who is hungrier, more wanting, of life giving juices and slowly rubbed emotions… believing, I am, that it is me, drought laden, a desert in search of an oasis... coming upon you in lazy gazed loco motion promises mired deep in tie-dyed gray thoughts and lashed looks would you reach, then, toward me, gripping promises still to be given, grappling, rappelling, as husk of voice shells you in promise of flavors buttering your summer haze? Come, feast with me, our snow cones are melting. |
