Can you see the blood of dreams although they leave so small a trace hidden within the tracks of tears that have dried upon my face Did you hear their silent screams when they departed from their place to go beyond Ethereal Seas and far from the Mortal race Do you feel their absence keen since they met with a mortal's fate knowing they'll never again be seen on this side of Heaven's gate How is it for those we grieve ever since they have passed away and is it the way we believe when we put our trust in faith I only hope my destiny will have us meeting once again then for all eternity together we may remain. Jason Daniels (I began this poem a long time ago, not really sure what I wanted to say, but thinking of all the dreams we've had that had simply passed away. How some dreams died before they'd been tried and some that went with friends, still others died along the way, never quite reaching their end. But, after my Grandma died on April 20, 2001, it took on a much deeper meaning for me. Grandma's passing left another hole within me. A place where some of my dreams had been, and it reminded me that I also miss my best friend of my youth, Philip Lee Roland, who died in an automobile accident in 1993. So, between losing my Grandma and my best friend, the Blood of Dreams became what it is now.) Practiced in the Art of Perception... |

One feels that you have worked hard through this, your loss, but that in the grief of the passing, you have gone to the next level of understanding... well done, Sir. |

*sigh* temporarily without internet access over here, Jason. Its good to see you here, and good to read you again. You're writing well as usual. I can't wait to see you start to grow again. *Jenn* I will not bend to the cowardice of a silent judgement. |
