I sipped the marmalade of your eyes when you said smile words voiceless in long coats when you were the dragonfly I was a waterfall on the other side where trees were immortal we swam in our desire pool it didn't have a shallow end and we never wanted to touch bottom I remember praying for winter so it would be ice cream cold and you would pray for my hands to cover you like warm toast sides ©Dark |
