one lonely night
she walked lightly
in place of silence--
finite by electric light.
(I will miss
how I know him)
special memories
(he had his time...)

finding you--
no one's child--
caught ya with your fly open
bored of patience
(goodbye laws)
"let me know you"
on bended knee
I reach for you...
raindrop love

by the river--
drawn soft by your soul
the shadow waits--
serenity flight...

what season is this
to sleep with stars?
fragility feathered--
rolled and coasted
(endless mystery)
melted ice,
misery made beautiful--
possibilites...

are there shadows?
(let me think for awhile)
I didn't know--
it's so hard growing up--
so much unfinished patchwork--
cast me into the abyss...

Oh that feeling!
sharing the life--
bridges and walls--
playground blues.

I have fingers--
let me sip the tea...

the road is yours
in search of self--
(something in my mind's eye)
help me name it?
I won't dare...

Learning to let go
the drifter's dance
she rides...
touched by you,
your key--
deleted from existance
one grain at a time,
the pregnant sky
(inside-out)
in candescence-
rhythms of rain--
woman back walking
~a delicate haunting~
the spirit of love
she knows
when dreams die...

putting on a smile
waiting for the moment...alone.

Hey, I do hope you guys don't mind...I wanted to say a thank you, somehow...I think I could have gone on and on as there is so much inspiration here, just in the scroll alone. I did take liberties punctuating, but there were some places where I wanted to attempt to string thoughts together, and separate others. So...any critique on punctuation would be appreciated. And if anyone objects to the inclusion of their poem, of course, I would happy to delete, with apologies.     And now? Let's roll the credits, shall we?

this is awesome! I have often read over titles of our poets, and thought of different lines, but never could put it into a poem like this! Wow! Love it!

Karen, you've done an excellent job pulling all of these titles together into a story that flows with a uniqueness all it's own. I'm really impressed .... well done!

Best wishes,

I always knew a good title could make up a poem...it just took a few more titles under the spell of you that brought it into play...

Kudos m'dear!

This is a marvelous piece, Karen...
I really enjoyed reading it and thank you for using one of my titles in it.
Maybe you should make this into a challenge...
What do ya think?

Thanks for the smile, Sen. Hmm, usually I'd say "I love yr words" but I guess in this case I have to say I love everybody else's. LOL

Serenity

You're so clever..this was very well done..thanks for including one of my titles.

By the way, one credited with my name, Leaning to Let Go, I never wrote.  When I did a search on the title, it came up blank.

Hugs to you...you're a passion's treasure!

that was really awesome. Thanks for including my poem... It was neat to see how a entire poem can be made out of the titles of so many others.

Great Job

and thanks again everyone! er...for EVERYTHING! and Martie? I just KNEW I'd screw something up...thanks for helping me to give proper credit for "Learning to Let Go" to skyshine!--and gotta admit, I do not understand a deliberate plagiarist! shaking my head, I think the process is much easier if ya make things up yerself!

Hugs, good poets!

You are amazing in so many poetic ways I can't count.  I tried this once by taking the first page of 100 posts and using the titles and ......well to say the least.......it never got seen because I couldn't pull it off.  I commend your effort and your heart.  Well done and much enjoyed.

YAY!!! Oh Karen, this is such a wonderful and inventive tapestry of delight, I LOVE IT, I agree, this just has to be a challenge, maybe some groundrules can be that you are allowed to take any poem titles here, even from Open #1 if you wanted, but only from Passions! (smiles) This is brilliant, sweet friend, you are a delight to us all, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Karen, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

smiling...this was kind of fun--and challenging...sort of like "magnetic poetry"

I've seen others do this before--and I confess, it went beyond me at the time. But I just saw all of these lovely words and couldn't help myself! Thanks all, once again.
