My Pleasures

It pleasures me to kiss your cheek
It takes away the gray obelisk
It fires up my plains of love
It offers me a naked glove.

It warms my heart a lonely sail
Surceases me a lonesome bale.
It makes the waters calm of roll
It etches you upon my soul.

Its true I’m predigest your fair
You are the daughters of my dare.
No matter what I’ve done before
With age you leave me naught but awe.

My heart is subject to your smile
I think of you in every wile
My shadow echoes by your side
It is a truth that I confide.

So please forgive my kiss of cheek
It takes a moment, just a tweak.

Do you prefer the left or right?
Which cheek to tweek on a morn so bright
This poem could be a problem, to tell the truth...
Ron may have to install you a kissing booth

The maidens will be lining up when they read this...
For who could resist a Randy Dragons kiss?

If all the tear drops went to heaven
And if all the pain was confined ...
Would I be your salvation
could I make your spirit shine.

Sy, as the first poem I've read today this set a lovely mood for me. Thank you.

psssst, I love the use of the word "obelisk" a fascinating word.  It plays with the tongue when you say it.

In truth, what defines us is our poetry.

You gather us like flowers
as you wile away the hours
dreaming weaves of golden spell
this, you do, Sire, very well...

You sit and speak in mesmerize
and cast your charms before our eyes
your daughters of rarest poetry
are but students meant for thee...
