Thanks for the reply, Electra... This was written for 2 friends who post poetry here. Both have suffered some horrible verbal abuse... I also wrote it for my 20 yr old neice who was told repeatedly by her grandmother (my mother) that she was fat. My poor neice has been spending all summer at the gym... She was never fat, but my mother has these unrealistic views of how people should look. Both my sister and I have suffered from her verbal bombs also. ~ Sunday chipmunk hugsLyra |
