The Tenuous Tongue of the Hedonist Love from a Hedonist Is worth all of a Thousand Grains of Sand; Sifting gently through the gaps in your fingers, And falling from your grasping hands. He may come and endeavor Your most reserved of lusts, Treating you with words And sweet caresses And even sensuous touch. But should you not fall At his whim and his delight, Then another woman he has prepared And the same endeavor for her tonight. But what if I am that other unwitting woman, Solely used for his carnal lust? Will all those sweet worthless words he has spoken Fall broken into dust? It is so! Poor presumptuous Sinner! I have found your imprint On more than just my flesh, And so your haughty hand upon me Shall no more find it’s rest. "She said, 'See no one loves...'"- Prayers for Rain |

Very well done, you marked the character of a Hedonist quite well...and it is so very true! |

You have captured the character of a hedonist perfectly here. As to whether or not I'm in love with one, or am one myself, I'll leave unsaid. Great poem. |

'Tis a marvelous write. One of the best that I can recall off the top of my head. Keep to it, Alice. |
