To The Mountain Man

two years
nearly come and gone
and your name
still traces my lips
flowers for you
placed by another
that I wish had come
from my fingertips
I know in my heart
that every morning
at dawn you still
saddle and ride
but the wind is
no longer against you
but gently blows
by your side
you are much more
than a ghost
that flat black
and white silhouette
but a colorful smile
that no one
could ever forget

missing you till the day after eternity

A fabulous tribute ... to whom, if I may ask?
