You Are A Poem I tried to paint you as a poem yet, it all seemed too trite and melodramatic, for, you deserved elegant strokes of shades in sway brushed pansy plush of feathered plume, yes, you deserved something a little more, but, I couldn't colour the words as there was nothing left to say, left to weep on the palette to keep your memory alive, so, I just smiled and looked to the light in the sky to realize you were no longer in pain and I knew that was enough... you were already a song, a poem. By Melissa P. Monette Some simple thoughts for my Grandma Phyllis Long April 14, 1923 - June 15, 1996 [This message has been edited by Melissa Honeybee (06-16-2002 03:28 PM).] |

(big hugggsssssssss) God Bless You, sweet friend, I know your grandma is going to cherish this forever and ever as she will always be your poem and you will always be the song in her heart! (kiss on cheek) You are a true song to us all, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Melissa, thank you for sharing! May love and light always shine upon you! Oh I'm glad I found this. I have been so sad as my Grandmothers birthday just came, the first since she passed. This is beautiful. Grandmothers are so special. Sandra |
