Flittering, these friends on high; come to me when tides are nigh. Reasoning, with watchful eye, assure no morsel passes by. Munch on treats of whole wheat rye, melon, chips and last week's pie. Watch me closely so as I feed every wanting, begging cry. When the winds of feasts subside, thank me with your sweet gull sigh. Whispy clouds that don earth's sky welcome flight - a fair good-bye. If only had I courage to try... I'd give my spirit free rein to fly. |

Nice topic! Personally I dislike the seemingly perfect aim of the Seagull ![]() But I like your poem!! Krishankins A bird never flies so high that it can't hit the ground |

Yep! Gull's cries do that. ![]() These smiling eyes are just a mirror for the sun. |

You mean they wait for your leftovers? LOL The gulls down here aren't so polite... they do their best to take lunch from you before you've had the first bite. LOL I like this very much. *S* |

Nice read I enjoyed it.......I wouldn't try that last part without using an airplane. There might be a cry but it wouldn't be like the gulls......Just kidding.....you painted the seaside dining scene so very well in this.....I've been there many times and I can really relate! |
