the lines of loneliness

Let me be the sun
so I can warm your skin
on this early spring day
and let you forget
a cold lonely winter

Let me be in all the raindrops
so I can touch your hair
with a million kisses
and drawn you
in my love…

Your breeze has blown whispers of delight, to a heart needing the beauty of words
Let me be the one to welcome you as many have
There are many friendships here to make and poems to share
Let me be the one to say bravo with applause

Ps, my parents are Dutch but I was born here, we have a visitor at the moment from the Netherlands who I am still yet to meet.
