Come, some sage drift of handsome mercy You have awakened the invisible Your love dares to have me sling shoes running with any hemline of thought I relax this prima donna aspire Adjust it for size and find that it just doesn’t fit No matter You never measure me You understand the loosening of a woman’s glory When my words are flung back like black pearls left to clatter against stone walls falling into cracks of memories’ sidewalk There you go collecting them I am silly girl fingers and pout lips of never able to conceal my colors You have renamed them all Each part of me at first slurred, cloaked methodical in leaps and bouts of doubt I dash beyond the crowd to cling your meaning within this shingled palace I hide and seek myself pleading insanity yet you find me And make all the windows into doors You await my guess sending your brougham escape Your strategy black, white dancing chainless light of watchful eyes Though I venture to be a different language I am mostly whispering steps, stammering behind beaded curtains You see me You always see me I am free in you I wish I could paint then For creme de jour is so hard to explain in pure words |

"You see me You always see me I am free in you I wish I could paint then For creme de jour is so hard to explain in pure words" (smiles) Awwwwwwww, I never thought of understanding as "handsome mercy", I love that, that is sooooo original, can I stea that? LOL! Just kidding! Seriously, I love how you feel everything around you, like that special someone can measure your shoe size and everything and be able to fit each size and feel your heart! (sigh) This is beautiful, sweet friend, I love it, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Regina, thank you for sharing! May love and light always shine upon you! Gads, my favorite female poetesses are all out tonight...and I know a few poets who are going to clamber all over this one...but I was here before them! HA! the pearls and the clattering are going to make them flock in to read, and once again, I insist... I'm going to hang up my pen. For about ten minutes. |

When my words are flung back like black pearls left to clatter against stone walls =============================== I am silly girl fingers and pout lips of never able to conceal my colors You have renamed them all Each part of me at first slurred, cloaked methodical in leaps and bouts of doubt =========================== You await my guess sending your brougham escape Your strategy black, white dancing chainless light of watchful eyes ============================== I wish I could paint then For creme de jour is so hard to explain in pure words ============================== First of all.... brougham escape??!!??!! could that intend and metaphor be any cooler? This is one very cool write Poetess R... high inspire indeed...love the verbiage and word play...the way you build up the urgency to express yourself..the need to find the right words to make this muse declaration.. and the impact of the last lines are perfect and all is done with your unique style. Me thinks ya found the right words...and turned it into pure poety. mothyme If all the tear drops went to heaven |

I am flabbergasted and somewhat bewildered. Yet, being only a man, I loved it beyond my poor power to describe the thoughts jetting about in my mind. I would truly enjoy hearing/reading your thoughts behind such a remarkable write Fool, said my Muse to me, look in thy heart and write. |

I am silly girl fingers and pout lips of never able to conceal my colors You have renamed them all Reg...you always leave me speechless. The way you can delve into the human psyche and make poetry out of ordinary mundane things is just incredible... I am truly in awe of your talent... ~ hugs of admiration from a pesky striped rodent Lyra |

You await my guess sending your brougham escape Your strategy black, white dancing chainless light of watchful eyes Though I venture to be a different language I am mostly whispering steps, stammering behind beaded curtains ================= Love the recline in these words and somehow I just don't think I could ever imagine you as insane one bit but the plea I am sure would be accepted in many courts of human heart. Very cool is your process of thought and the sincereity of sharing your appreciation to a friend in close realm is a joy to read. Well done and of course said like a refined lady of know. |
