Listening to every heart

0 posted 2002-08-08 03:49 PM

It only took a moment

he glanced, she glanced
they found this person
in words

what words!

a gluing together
of emotion’s motion
a tidal ocean
of come and see
do and say
pulled them in to this sway….

it only took a moment

she stayed with him
in his mind
he could not leave
her thoughts entwined
and like ivy climbing vines
their words clung
to each in kind

it only took a moment

it was more than a dance
more than a rhapsody
she’d start the song
he’d write the melody
what collaboration
what a duo’s duet
the more they wrote
the more their thoughts met

it only took a moment

her inspiration would ring
his pen would bring
them together
~ forever ~
his feelings wrought
his words she sought
O emotions havoc caught

It only took a moment

he would draw in breath
she would loose a sigh
he would
feel the heat
she could
feel the beat
O the emotion
O vast ocean
O the commotion
when poets collide

(smiles) Awwwwwww I love the feel of this, sweet friend, I find it the most magical and aspiring feeling when two poets share words in loves spirit! (sigh) This is a wonderful feel-good poem, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Karilea, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Yes M'lady....it does only take a moment
when two poets collide....

Excellent thoughts...you do this so well...

A moment of a heart in beat
when words are said in sway
A moment of a treasured treat
that takes two breaths away

Collusion or collision? Poets together always intrigued me and seemed a natural but alas, we too are human and it would take some special sync to merge the ink, I think. Nice thoughts though.

Yes.......there are those moments when we look up and find a special moment of unity.  You express it well and completely and when it comes to poets...there is always that something extra to glance at.

O the rhythm
O the intensity!

Enjoyed!
