Speaking of my Dear Diary
what became someone else's best seller
running away with my dreams.

Penned in private shorthand
dedicated to the hours loving one another
mixing my words that don't fit quite the same.

Omiting acknowledgment
or credit to the inspiration
in my dreams locked neatly away.

Tucked inside My Dear Diary
keeping my secrets hidden
between the lines written so small.

Offsetting the predictable
ends as the beginning
with different meanings to it all.

Metaphors and rhyme
prose and cons
scattered in verse
as it always was

~one with

Crowded in an empty space
like the fine print that no one ever reads
what only my hairdresser

and my Dear Diary know for sure~

I read this once through entirely,
then I set back and I read it again
verse by verse.

  Each verse stands on
it's own and is so very well crafted
and just flows right into the next
with continuing thoughts that make the
entire piece a complete masterpiece.

This is wonderful and now I am going to
fold this up and into my lil box of gems
it goes!!  I enjoyed this delight of write
incredibly so, thank you for the morning smile.
sincerely,
Donna

Enjoy life, this is NOT a dress rehearsal.

Mine are all written on parched paper and tucked under the band of lining inside my hat.

I admit I had to read this one a few times but one thing I noticed right away is that the flow of thoughts carried smoothly from one word to the next on into the seperate verses and then that essential pause of
"~one with"

Very nicely done and I much enjoyed.

Very nicely done, Lori...
I found your last verse interesting because only your hair dresser and diary know for sure....
Is that about your blondness? LOL
