Slow Thoughts In slow mo it glazed the glass Escargot in spree I watched it on that rainy day Thought of it, and me. How fragile is its brownish shell Yet hide in it, it will How fragile is a shell at all That holds its tears from spill In its ever searching way It leaves a glistening trail And in wondering, I ask of it If it looks for its own grail Or does it have any thoughts at all As it carries its fragile shell No strife in life, no, none at all Less left a salty hell So let the raindrops be alone in fall No tears you’ll find from me For mine are salty on my lips, They’d harm your destiny Travel on, my escargot Under protective gaze And I shall tend to my own shell And write of you my praise. |

Soleil To fine such pieces of self and truth of life in the little things, is a blessing. Thank you for sharing it. |

to find thoughts wherever they might be. . . excellent work. . . ------------------------------------------------------- To the world, you may only be one person. But to one person, you may be the world. |

As long as the grail it's searching for isn't the garden, I'l be fine. I like yr words. Mike "Oh you've got green eyes. Oh you've got blue eyes. Oh you've got grey eyes." -New Order |

Somehow I don't think I will ever look at a snail in the same light again. This was not only a beautifully composed piece but the thoughts and perspecitive as given over to life are amazing. Then there are these lines....... No tears you’ll find from me For mine are salty on my lips, They’d harm your destiny ..................... Now that is total awareness caught in the simplest but most complex realizations. Truely a remarkable piece. Loved it truely. |

(smiles) Oh Soleil, this is soooooo beautiful, sweet friend, I love the metaphoric feel of this like you now travel seperate paths but in your shell you always think of the memories! (sigh) This is touching, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Soleil, thank you for sharing! May love and light always shine upon you! MS Noir, time strums the moments inside a bottle with the seal unbroken and we are outside sometimes holding the glass so carefully enjoyed this |

You captured the essence of the "original" mobile home Fool, said my Muse to me, look in thy heart and write. |

Soleil Noir, how soft and slow is the essence of this poem. Kethry Here in the midst of my lonely abyss, a single joy I find...your presence in my mind. Unknown |
