Brown Paper Wrapping

today
brought
brown paper
taped wrapping
hand printed
slowly hands
revealed cores
pure happiness
personally picked
angel sent
to cherish
gift of a
loving touch
in brown
paper wrapping

A wonderful depiction of the thought, tis what's inside that counts. Enjoyed.

I like that you talk about the feeling of it, not the concrete reality of what's inside. Enriches the poem even more. Great work, Helen!

Sometimes it's all about the wrapping, sometimes it's not.
Continually enjoying your sensitive work.

So,  what was it....I wanna know?  Just
kidding....   Yes,  the most treasured
gifts can come very plainly wrapped...

Even people can be that way.....for a book
can not always be judged by it's cover...
