Can not my love be found again
upon the green of meadow high?
Can not my lips once kiss when
I hear the sound of soulful sigh?

I wait beneath the window sill
to hear the rustle of the sheet.
I wait in patience ever so still
in spite of this throbbing heartbeat.

The fragrance of your smooth bathed skin
which comes upon the gentle breeze.
Spurring to want you now, not then,
a moment I wish to dare seize.

I love you dearest maid of my night.
I wait to see your flowing hair.
My tears of longing blur my sight.
My dear,I wish and want you there.

Till dawn does take away the moon
and rays become a path of shine.
I’ll wait my love, till call of loon.
When once I say thee will be mine.

So beautifully romantic Magnus ... such a melodic flow and delicate phrasing.  This is a lovely piece to warm the heart.

Best wishes,

Thy maid must be awaiting thee
or else a sorry fool is she.
