Etienne’s Day What occurred to you in ‘73 were you so broke and without backing to take the paper with the news then oil onto a smiling face as if yours was a smile gone lacking I tried to read the news, Du jour le français had bled away, in vibrant color of van Gogh-ish hues somehow you pled that smile to stay as paper flower graces hat you crowned the clown with your views Was the news so bad, so real, direct, you created a need to smile? Or were you simply just flat broke, and found the paper worthwhile? Or was it some creative zest a gift of treasure from your chest, a sampling of what an artist can do that you would use the daily news… I’ve looked close, and would understand, the thoughts that chased the clown in man, to leave behind a winsome smile, as if the news were still worthwhile, or is this the saddest face I’ve seen, and did you paint through tears in gleam? Etienne, how was your day? I’ve kept the clown, to chase the gray. ~*~ ©Karilea Rilling Jungel 4 August 2002 [This message has been edited by Sunshine (08-04-2002 05:09 PM).] |

Amazing how simple an object can be used to transform an ordinary piece of paper into a remarkable work of art....What was the person thinking as they painted this picture of a sad clown...not smiling.. |

(big hugggssssss) Oh my gosh, this is incredible yet so very sad, sweet friend, I know with all my heart Etienne has a special talent forever resting deep within the heart and was just yearning to reveal how he felt upon the paper so others can notice him and perhaps send a message to help those in need such as him with the power of art! (sigh) God Bless You, sweet friend, I too send my sympathies and alms out to those who need a helping hand, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Karilea, thank you for sharing! May love and light always shine upon you! Love, Noah Eaton "Underneath your clothes there's an endless story..." |

Oh, Sunshine, I really, really enjoyed this one. I love clowns, and how they make the smiles appear, just by 'being'. Thank you for this one, it's lovely!! Open the door and let your adventure begin!!! |

Karilea Sometimes the things that people find funny, to me are sad...perhaps he feels the same way. |

Who's day sinks beyond the reach of a sad clown ... why cling to nothing, when there's nothing left sad clowns always sift my thoughts enjoyed Rex |

Sunshine, I really enjoyed this. They say a picture can say a thousand words, but I think that would fall a little short on this picture, without the words you have written here. Thanks for the wonderful "picture" you've painted here with your words. Jason Practiced in the Art of Perception |

As usual, your work chases the gray away ... and the image helped a little, too Fool, said my Muse to me, look in thy heart and write. |

Thank you for this, Karilea. Whenever I feel burned out and tired, I turn to your words and feel full again. Full of dreams and words. Thank you, Sunshine. "I fall into your arms." |
