She asked for a picture painted just so flowers and rainbows in watercolors shown. But out of paint I had to make do so with pen in hand I painted my view. Words on a page that live and breathe words on a page that create a scene. I handed it finished she said "Where's the paint, these are just words a picture it ain't". But then as her eyes started to read as her mind let go imagination released. I saw a smile of wonder a look of surprise she saw the picture in her minds eye. our lives are bare canvas ~ have to say, you painted a beautiful picture,,,and when one reads, their own perception becomes the colours i adore this piece brava!! |
