I have moved so many turtles off the road and brought them home to be released in my yard.  Little did I know they liked the taste of cucumbers.  One morning I found two of them munching away in my vegetable garden. LOL!  Nice work, enjoyed much!

Oh yes. I've done it. And I was in a big truck with my husband. He had a fit when I made him pull that big 18 wheeler over so I could run back and move that turtle off the side of the road. The poor thing rolled over as we went by just from the force of the wind. I didn't want someone to come along and run it over. I like this small bit of kindness portrayed here.

In truth, what defines us is our poetry.
