Don't know how it happened
how we've become so close
one day you were there
now forever a part

what did i do
to deserve the friend i have in you
you've given so much time
asking nothing in return
given so much love
i've taken it
treasured it
i treasure you

you said to me 'i'm always near'
i didn't understand
how can you always be near
when we are worlds apart
now i understand

i'm starting to grow
thank you my friend
i adore you, i'll never let you go

This is a beautiful tribute to a friend. Even miles can not separate the best of friends.

In truth, what defines us is our poetry.
