Karilea gave me permission to drink one of her rippling poems... Here's the result:

Drinking the light of the sun
breathing rainbow gulps
light in steps of color wake
watery sunlight

dawn is but an egg
shell yolk floating in the glass
taste its newborn thoughts

following its path
seven drops within twelve bowls
warmed upon the hearth

lifting high the draught
drinking lightbeams of the sun
summer, lift me up

and this part in particular has such an Oriental flavor to it...oh yes, like is not quite the word I would have used, but it will do until I can find a better one...

And I am reading this whilst listening to Green Day's Paranoid. Um...

I know I should be listening to Moist's singles collection, as I got that today, but there's a song I hear once a night at work on the radio, and I can't identify it, so I'm waiting for it to play again, I'll jot down as many lyrics as I can, and go look it up.
