I walk the path by ruins, Litter blows cross broken glass, A empty box none play in Amidst the too tall scrub grass. A playground; So broken, Forsaken, Forgotten. The path leads by destruction Red bricks burnt and fallen down, No one tries reclamation, This is the bad part of town. Once a home, Just a spot, Some place not, Now forgot. I walk this path of ruins, Feeling the loss all around, Trying to just imagine, When filled with a happy sound. Not ruin Forsaken, Now forgot. Gloom Inspired from 1slick_lady’s Ruin Runs Thick |

so often these places of life for the children are forgotten. You wrote of this loneliness well. Brava. Enjoy life, this is NOT a dress rehearsal. |
