rapture focused lightning like a needle to the spine frozen mental tapestry revealing new design the thawing image bubbles up till married to my skin filling the cracks of weathered life that I resided in freedom from the measured step the breathing down my neck laughing at the Salesman as I write the final check the meaning of the mirror mask will not escape my grin the glass of glitter shattering the panes embedded in feeling the power of sun on my face knowing the minutes are slowing my pace floating in story of evident grace I read between the lines feeling the minutes of evident grace knowing the story of sun on my face floating: the power of slowing my pace I'm free of all disguise I never aimed at reality; I aimed at truth. --Orson Welles [This message has been edited by brian sites (08-03-2002 01:17 AM).] |
