Some’ehs Out Theya

it’s some’ehs out theya
in the meadow hidin’ ‘neath
the phlox ‘n’ lupine

in the thicket,
by the cricket
‘at sings foh a mate.

undeh moonlight
of a summeh’s night
it whispehs neah the ground

creeping, crawling
lounging, lolling
as it lingehs till the mown

when the dawning
finds it yawning
for its slumbeh in the day

what could it be
haunting me
can ya make it go away?

have you ever been to the south? This is cute, wonder how it got all the way back here with no one seeing it? Let's try it through again!

No, I've not been to the south, other than through movies and people from the south.
