Tornado

The rumbling winds, the fear of death
The twister’s roar, the gasp for breath
The reach for something bound to earth
The second thoughts of life’s own worth

The spiral twists, the sudden turns
The season shifts, the candle burns
And still no where to lay your head
But in the coldness of your bed

The night unveils a secret thought
The bitter lesson life has taught
The cherished one you left behind
Spins in the funnel of your mind

“What if I had“; “What ifI’d not”
Two questions tied into a knot
And tumbling down upon your head
The weight of words you left unsaid

The twister spins your thoughts around
In echoes of the rumbling sound
Nowhere to hide or stay aground
You grab for soft of pillow’s down

BRAVO!!! Oh Elizabeth, I understand how you feel, I used to feel part of all this turmoil deep inside of me and I just wanted to find a soft place to fall and shear through that ravine to find answers! (big hugggsssssss) This is wonderful, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Elizabeth, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
