Of rivers it is said the pulse of God flows free A gathering of hidden aches to fill by drop Until by storm full density of tears takes flee It is the thunder on the earth that cannot stop Of rivers it is said that restless heartache rushes to the sea Until the flood is through and empty of resistance A glorious release of damned emotions mightily It is the flowing strength of sheer persistence Of rivers once to empty of the swell tranquility A simple state of greatness to meander In place to wait another flood and gallantly It is said of rivers role a wise bystander Copyright Kkh 6/13/02 |

Awesome Kathy.... yes...think about it...where is civilization without the flow of mighty rivers... our electricity, our water, our crops, moving of goods, fish for our tables, the small plants, animals that feed from the rivers.... Gosh...this could go on into infinity... You really got me to thinking with this one. Thanx Kathy.. |
