I'm raised by concealed hands;
desire transferring me
to lands, collected behind my dreams
and on further than wind can carry man.

Misplaced in the shadows of confusion
such twisted visions caress my route,
distorting what is, what was, what now?
your distant smile lies crooked on the skyline.

Nothing left to say when love is of loss
it traps itself within a pocket of moribund air
perforating my compassion and charging fiercely
what once, would charge fierce.

The world curled itself blue
underlying greens, slashing the oceans blush,
where polished shells echo forgiveness
to her ship of mirrors gliding on cobweb cries.

She pictures no more, the fragile heart I clutch,
my eternal plea shall collapse soundless.
Confined, its beat is forever distant
beneath dry armour, I liquefy our love.

I saw beside me, the faint fragrance of you
Anam chara! you breathe inside the ghost that's me,
and within the worlds heart
I shall drift, eternally yours.

Hey Sammie this is wonderful!
However, I'm used to you writing great poetry. I remember your work very well from your own poetry board.
I changed computers and I lost the link so I haven't been around.
Are you back from Paris or writing from there?

Beautiful, Sammie ~
And you slew me with this

and within the worlds heart
I shall drift, eternally yours."

(big hugggssssss) Oh Sam, this is sooooo powerfully eerie, sweet friend, I LOVE IT, I love gaelic culture too for a part of my ancestry is Celtic as most of it is Cherokee Indian! (kiss on cheek) This is wonderful, sweet friend, I love it, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Sam, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,

Love's parry and thrust, updraft and descent
dizzying whirlwinds of where it stands (or lies) may well as cast confusion to the wind......though I thought I read an anchored heart in there?
