I'm rolling on the laughing floor, bewaring life and limb. Its smiles and giggles have teeth and lips, and it's intoxicating but I must get away. The windows are all weeping, filling the mouths of the floor slowly as I begin to float, going still as the grief surrounds me and chokes out all prior hilarity. I'm bobbing in the windows' tears, thrashing then floating then thrashing again. It won't be long before the floor swallows it all; before the laughter returns to me.

I tried this challenge, and I was defeated by it. (all I could come up with were a few vague memories of mushrooms) and NOW...totally intimidated. This is great, and it actually helped me to find a fresh angle that was not strictly drug-induced. (I'd FORGOTTEN about my natural tendency to madness! ) Hugs you...perhaps I'll try again..thanks. |

I'm gonna hafta look up the challenge. Because the only reply that seems to fit is, "The colors, the colors" I was gonna say I'm too old for that. But actually, I'm just old enough, and other people are too young to know what I mean. Sigh. Nan(Pilgrim variety) |

Ah, those Ricochet Days…welcome to reality. Now I’ve got that song running through my head. Lol. I think we all go through those periods….high to low, then back again. You can never win or lose |

Wow, someone caught into the title! You so rock. I've had it stuck in my head for more than 48 hours now; I'm sure I even dream it! Does funky things to yr brain. Anyway, thanks, all. I've decided this challenge thing might be fun. My poetic writer's block is lying in mangled pieces on the floor. Now I just wish the same would happen with my stories! written in blood before everything went black JCV [This message has been edited by Anvrill (07-27-2002 09:14 AM).] |
