Tomorrow, and tomorrow, and tomorrow
I’ll pay the bills, I’ll quit the smoke, the wine… the women: they quit on me

creeps in this petty pace from day to day
and if I cannot get to work on time - the petty pace will cease to be

To the last syllable of recorded time;
punching out, leave the grind, rush hour - sing the blues

And all our yesterdays have lighted fools
the way to dusty death.

My dad’s retirement died today his heart is fine the doctor’s say

Out, out brief candle!
The utilities too!

Life is but a walking shadow,
A walking cane, a silver one, for my some-day graduation

a poor player that struts and frets
his hour upon the stage and then is heard no more.

-peep- -peep- strutting around in my insolence

It is a tale told by an idiot, (oogly boogly)
full of sound and fury signifying nothing. (neener neener neener!!!)

How true it all is.

What is life without poetry and adventure?
"Little sister" is just another way of saying "Guardian Angel"!

I can be bought. *G* Especially when I liked the read! LOL

I read it as one poem and as two... either way is a thought provoking snapshot of life and its frustrations... at least until the oogly boogly neener neener part, which is sometimes the only thing we can say to those frustrations. *G*

Now... about that payment??? LOL

Avaunt the jester doth make play with the lines of the immortal bard.Tis cause to bring forth mirth.Verily and forsooth I didst
enjoy this romp.
