I Miss Her Glow (Tribute to Midnitsun)
By Larry Chadwick
Hope you come back soon!

Life teaches lessons as we go,
Not always easy that I know.
But one of my sources of fun,
Has always been the Midnitesun.

One of the lessons I have learned,
Is to wait until it’s your turn.
Another bright one that is fun,
Is the one I learned from the Midnitesun.

It’s a lesson only a night owl could know,
And here in the blue halls it will show.
That a place without any Midnitesun,
Is a little darker and a lot less fun!

July 26, 2002

If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane, I'd walk right up to heaven and bring you home again.

So glad you posted this, Larry.  I've been wondering when she'll be back.  Nights on here just aren't the same without her.  Hurry back, Kacy!!!

Sue,
Hopefully she'll be back soon. Thanks.

Lyra,
I'm sure she's storing up firewood for the winter! Thanks.

Duncan,
Spoken like the night owl that you are! Thanks and I'm sure she'll be here soon.

Noah,
I know her circumstances, however, felt she should know. And thanks.

If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane, I'd walk right up to heaven and bring you home again.

Aw, Larry, you are unbelievably sweet! I can't find my password, it disappeared during the move. I'm staying temporarily at the Melbourne Hostel in Denver. My daughter arrives from Vancouver Sunday evening. I still have another followup interview for a job that should start mid-August. And if all goes well I'll be back online by mid September. I miss all of you! Jaime lets me pop in now and then on his computer, and I just happened to be here this evening to check emails from family and decided to stay up all night surfing the poetry board.  If I knew how to reply under my own name, I would! But I guess I'll have to email Ron to get my password again. Dumb me, I never changed it to one I could remember! Anyway, thanks for the warm poetic hugs. I really miss you guys, but will be back before the snow falls over the Rockies. Meanwhile, I am reading your posts as often as possible, but not able to reply. Hugs to all from the Rockies midnitesun, Kacy

Hey 'cousin', I hope to be back here visiting Jaime again next weekend. It's time to sign off for now, but I'll keep reading and 'visit' with from an internet cafe, since I don't have any laptop except for the one I was hatched with years ago. But then, that's another story. Love ya, Kacy

KACY...SO GOOD TO SEE YOU!!! Glad to hear all is well, and look forward to seeing you more when you get back on line. Too bad those laptops we're born with, don't let us surf the net huh?? Lol. Glad to hear all is well, and you'll have your daughter with you shortly. Big hugs too you, and best of luck on the job front.
