it had been a nice sunny day But then the rain came in The thought of hearing the rain Made me happy Yet at the same time sad The rain slowly started to fall I starred out my window As it fell I thought of all the happy And yet sappy times I had in the rain How when I thought of my love I kept sane Then I thought of the night My love left me behind Crying in the middle of a rain storm How life was a bore without him So when the rain comes I just sit back and watch it fall And think about all the good And bad times I had But mostly the good Cold hands means a warm heart |
