The Beat

A permeating thump, they jumped
The thin the svelte and those of plump
They called to me to join the frolic
And I did, with a dance of colic.

I smiled to cover pain and rage
These sinews of another age
And I in throbbing played at young
That I in heart would be among

They riptide with a pride of power
The flourish of a newborn flower
Held the stage in rare engage
A product of a brand new age

And here I thought in poets rhyme
Comparing to another time
The wonderings of a long lost beach
Leached away by siphons bleach.

But I have built a golden lair
And more and more you’ll find me there.

Nicely written
I don’t do anything faster than a waltz
Anymore.

Ah Sy...

So well you sketch the pictures
of youth and long lost times
If I may, I'll join you
just to share our minds...

So lightly your words tumble out in floating phrases of reality.
Beautiful writing

*smiling at you* and your "dance of colic"

and this will be the coolest line I'll read today...

"Leached away by siphons bleach."

look at the inner rhymes mixed with clever metaphors... 3 of them in that one very impressive line alone....day after day you consistantly do this so well...you may feel like ya got old bones..but that mind of yours is keeping perfect time me Stinkylove.
This write is poetic proof!!

Suthern,
What ever we could do would be a riot. LOL

Martie,
Yes we do.

JM,
Lip lock sounds good to me. LOL
You are the pillar of my alter
With out you I would falter
The butterfly of my eye
The heart of my sigh.
How about some raspberry tea
