Light fell from the screen, from the street and the trees. The nights were long stones held tightly in hand, luxuriating in their coldness, their hard purple gleam. Tasted on tongue like gravel and glass. She grew into me like a flower in slate, a storm among eye -- her eyes of colorchange. I could see her new shape in the lights of oncoming, the dust and dead cells blown away by her breath. Something in her words said wait. Wait for me... In stumbling hop-skip I found someone else. And over its eulogy, I learned loss and love. Wait for me ... See me ... my friend with diamond eyes. Drowning inward depths. Stilled, deathly beauty. I swam to the shore and brought along her ache. Disappointed pain that it was not home. It took me years to realize. But now I know her eyes, Now I know her kiss. Now I see her face. I wait for taste of snow. Angel. Goddess. Poetess. Songstress. Lover. Soul. Your glass of taste is brimming. I pray among this shade. The comfort that you bring. Let me taste you whole. And I said of my unsure. And I said of my heartpour.
