The morning
buttered

melting along the crisp

and a toe of dew
left behind by dawn

touch

amazed

to capture something grand
and simple

in the pool
where the sun was just born

down

in peeled delight
I find the first cool

love this...the title sounds like the title for a jazz tune! As always you manage a meander I follow so easily, and I could hear the sizzle of something hot, cooling. Filled me with more than a bit of longing too...
