Upon Life’s Highway

Alone with thoughts
For better or worse
The highs and lows
My entries in verse

As the months go by
Writing each event
Colouring chapters
Time lovingly spent

Around every corner
What will there be
New day opening
With places to see

Sunset inspirations
Bright stars above
Heart’s embracing
Language of love

When turning pages
The past I review
Then gather hope
On journeys anew

Upon lifes highway
Of courses I chart
Faith and loyalty
Enriches my heart
