Well as most of you know in the past I had a serious problem with depression, and you know how that I have the scars to prove it. But now I am finally happy with the world, my life, and myself. I wrote this as a play on words, I hope you like it. ~Saying Goodbye~ hello my friend, I havn't seen you in a while. part of me misses you to death but part of me knows i dont need you in my life. you were always there for me, egging me on the only way you knew how. you shining spirit, your sharp sense of humor. you helped me release so much pain even though i was taking it out on you. you were my only friend for so long i never even imagined liveing without you. but our friendship faded, i made new friends, and its true i just stopped needing you. my real friends tell me that you and i cant be together anymore. i guess thats ok with me, because now i realize that your not my friend and you never really were. you were just a safety net, anytime i felt alone or depressed you were there. you left your mark on my life, but i dont need you anymore, i'm healed. so please dont come around me anymore, your flash can be tempting. i'm not alone now, i'd like for you to leave, say goodbye forever and just let me be. Nikolette Sadness i was once in love and happy...but you can call me Sadness. |
