The moonlight glows soft on my skin
Yet I say, let the day begin
Let that deep warmth of summer sun
Bring my warm dreams of night undone
Letting the breeze so soft and low
Taking from me this night time glow
Let now the sun in gentle warm
Give me my meaning, give me form
Those dreams lie soft upon my brow
And I will say who claims me now
The knight of night has left me cold
In dreams of lust left half untold
The sun gleams bright against my skin
And I say, let the day begin
