How nice it was to hear Your voice at the end of the line Through your words I felt your warmth Remembering your smile so fine 'tho it's been a while since I've seen you Our friendship remains ever true I'm so glad you're in my life And so pleased to be friends with you Some people touch our lives With just the simplest of things Many times they just don't realise How much joy their friendship brings I'm always so pleased to see you We'll get together in a while I hope life's treating you kindly And giving you many reasons to smile * * * * I wrote this for a dear friend of mine named Karen.Even though we don't see a lot of each other our bonds of friendship remain firmly tied. I am in motion |
