I listened so very intently
To all the things you had to say
You had given me food for thought
With what you told me on that day

You're a credit to your children
So much for them you care
Your love is so very evident
For them you are always there

I am merely an outsider
Who only says what she feels
I applaud your determination
And admire you a great deal

We both value your friendship
And take our hats off to you
You are an example to so many
