Island in Paradise

I dance in rhythm,
so sensuously slow,
observed by shadow
in glittering moonlight
silvery rays dancing
off my shining tresses,
with grace endowed
by God who knows;
charms curved abundant
to cause him to take note....

I know he is there
watching unseen.
I can hear him breathe
cool perfumed mists
inferno overtakes him,
gasping for breath
I am a part of him
and he of me.
I close my eyes,
longing for his kiss,
dancing alone for
only his eyes to see.

Poetry is:
Passion, imagination and intellect running together.
