Please Tell Me If these Poems Are Any Good 1 They all told me not to like you, They said you wouldn't care. They said you weren't worth the time, They said she acts liek you're not there. They all told me not to love you, and that i shouldnt try. I denied all the things that they said, I thought it was a lie. They told me to just give it up, they all told me to just let it go. I wouldnt belive a word they said, I just kept saying no Now i think about their remarks, As I go to sleep at night. and I start to wonder and realize........ maybe they're all right. ------------------------------------------------------- 2 I love you so much, I wish it would end, but I can't get this feeling...out of my head. I don't want to love you, I don't want to care, I really don't think...that this is fair. You have no problem, turning me down, you don't even notice....when I'm around. Why can't you feel like me, just feel like i do? Why does it have to be so hard.....loving you. ----------------------------------------------------- 3 I have these feelings, deep inside, feelings that I have to hide. I don't know if you feel the same way too, and I'm not sure what I should do. Your beautiful face is a most wondrous sight, when I am with you, everything feels right. I think about you all the time, and how nice it would be if you were mine. I yearn to emrace you in my arms, and cuddle to keep you away from harm. I long to feel your tender touch, I truly love you so very much. So for now I'll love you from afar, some day I'll express how special you are. On that day, I will reveal my true love, I hope you'll feel the same, when that day comes. |

I'm not into the rating system unless someone is ready to say, okay out of these ten, which should I publish...and for the work I do, I'd say we would have to do some minor editing and spell check on the ones you've submitted... Welcome to the Edge of the World, Crazy. I am new here too, and if you get half the reception I have had, then you will be really comfortable here, so slip off the shoes, put on your slippers, and join the Merry Go Round. Someone said earlier (sorry forget who, and too lazy to go back and check!)that it takes a lot of 'bottle' to get right up there and publish. Yes, Bravo. And who is anyone at all in here to judge? We all have our own ways, likes and dislikes, so the judgement (if there were any, it would be purely subjective), so just keep on doing what you are doing. Watch other peoples styles, copy a bit of this and a bit of that style and you will make up your own mind as to how good you are. The most important person you have to please is yourself!!! I have this advice to offer you. 1. I would respectfully post only one poem at a time. 2. If you want a true critique, post you work in the critical analysis folder instead of this one. |

I agree with the one post at a time thing- ONLY for the simple fact that each one will be given more critique in understanding and opinion.. never fear posting outright...why? because we don't hesitate to hold hand round here!!  you could say we are a lovey lovey bunch...he heI welcome you here and look forward to more!!! take care you!!! ~D Open arms can be the most fragile in the world...
