old boats, odd shaped corks bobbing in the bay making seal noises against old tires clouds with colds hover over head nose drip rain just enough to spot the glasses breeze people walk in from the water invisible 'til they touch and mess your hair as they leave light bulb with nerve stands nude there by the shed reaching between the limbs of a monterey pine tug boat belly growl duck swim trolling by the beer hall spits up its jonah 'til monday morning wrinkle man in a blanket with holes for head and arms rolling his own stagger dancing with the lady sea mercedes riders run through puddles children on a mission needing a fun fix waving money with both hands seagull stops to read daily news by a trash barrel mouth someone had fish & chips fresh from binky bay ©Dark |
