![]() Dreams Untold With that distant look A story is told Of hopes within And dreams untold Lips slightly apart And a hint of smile Forever etched upon Those hearts beguiled Lost in contemplation Immune to autumn chill Weathered line of face Mirrored in sandstone sill Dreams lost within The faded russet hue Of times indistinct Neither gold or blue Serenely beautiful A lady of class Eternally distant Encased in glass Maybe all one can do is hope to end up with the right regrets. ~Arthur Miller |

Oh yes!!!!!!! A duet between two of my favorite poets and a piece of beauty regardless. Split rhyme captured in preciseness, line splits nailed, and imagery galore, not to mention that you can't even tell who wrote what verse. Now that glows in the light of great poetry. Excellent you two. Good thing she finihed THIS duet first ... (right Eagle) ![]() |
