I speak to his quietening smile
that fades with the breeze as night falls,
swallowing the day whole.
Savouring the fragrance of dusk
connecting vision beyond my eyes ~
I transfer today, away, from the stars that lead him
and with a candle lighting the way
I creep, departing...

(sigh) Oh Sam, this is sooooo beautifully touching, sweet friend, yes, true happiness always begins with YOU, for if you can feel love in yourself you can accomplish any other endeavor!
